Starting from concrete sounds and images, quietSpeaker transforms sonic and cinematic matter. They construct audiovisual narratives and reshape spaces using multi projections and custom objects.
Based in Helsinki, quietSpeaker are Andrea Mancianti (composer and sound artist) and Roberto Fusco (formerly known as Roberto Pugliese) (media artist). Together they explore the relationship between sound and images, their perceptual integration in time and space and intertwined choreography as one medium.
While using self-developed software to digitally process sound and visual, their focus is to operate first on the physics of sound and images from the generation towards the transformation and diffusion in the concert space. Feedback, noise, concrete. ambiguity. emergence.
